CANADA

As the second largest country in the world, having rich indigenous cultures dating thousands of years, and boasting one of the highest immigration rates in the world, this highly diverse country has plenty for its visitors to discover… while also offering reminders of home, wherever that may be.

By area, it is the second largest country in the world. So it is hardly surprising that visitors flock to this country for its incredible geographical diversity. Outdoorsy explorers can hike along glacial lakes in British Columbia and Alberta, catch the Aurora Borealis in the Northwest Territories, or marvel at the tides of the Bay of Fundy.

Urban explorers can catch a music festival, live professional sports league games, or a play on any given night in one of the country’s major urban centres – Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver. The food scene in these cities offer something for everyone. This is thanks largely in part to the multicultural communities that formed within each.

Undoubtedly, this country is commonly known for its winters. In fact, this country has the longest ski season in the world and as well as world class ski resorts.

It’s hard to pinpoint the exact reason why this nation consistently makes it on top international destination list. But maybe that’s precisely it- this large and highly diverse country has it all!
