The Thrill of Pursuit is a travel blog that was born out of the desire to share in the excitement and to alleviate some of the anxieties felt before embarking on a new adventure by me, Dominique.

I travel to learn what makes each destination exotic but to also find the familiarities that connects us all as humans. I travel to be exhilarated and to have fun. Above all, I travel to hopefully grow from my experiences and be able to share them with kindred, curious souls.

The Thrill of Pursuit is also the story of my adventures. It is the moments from my journey that I would like to hold onto for as long as I can, the incredible places that made the journey memorable, and the humans that made the places worthwhile.

Come see the world through my photographs, sketches, and curated guides. I hope to inspire and help you make the most of your travels. By sharing my journals on slow, sustainable travel, I hope to provoke thought and perspectives on our global community.

I want to inspire you to see the world and to give you the confidence to make it happen.
